Welcome to Lumina Studios! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for using our services, including studio rentals and photographer bookings, provided by Lumina Studios, located at 1200 5th Avenue, Suite 1600, Seattle, WA 98101.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, booking a studio, or hiring a photographer through Lumina Studios, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site or our services.

2. Studio Rental Agreement

When you rent a studio at Lumina Studios, you agree to the following:

• Booking and Payment: All studio bookings require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total rental fee. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled rental time. We accept payments via credit card, debit card, and bank transfer.
• Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your booking more than 72 hours before the scheduled rental time, you will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the rental time will result in a charge for the full rental fee.
• Studio Usage: The studio must be used responsibly and in accordance with all safety guidelines provided by Lumina Studios staff. Any damage to the studio or equipment will be the responsibility of the renter and will be charged accordingly.
• Clean Up: The studio must be left in the same condition as it was found. Renters are responsible for cleaning up any mess created during their rental period. A cleaning fee may be charged if the studio is not left in satisfactory condition.
• Liability: Lumina Studios is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during the use of the studio. Renters are responsible for their own insurance coverage.

3. Photographer Booking Agreement

When you book a photographer through Lumina Studios, you agree to the following:

• Booking and Payment: All photographer bookings require a deposit of 20% of the total fee. The remaining balance must be paid directly to the photographer as per their individual payment terms. Lumina Studios acts as a facilitator and is not responsible for payment disputes between the client and the photographer.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation policies vary by photographer. Please review the photographer's individual cancellation policy at the time of booking. Lumina Studios is not responsible for enforcing individual photographer's cancellation policies.
• Photographer Services: Lumina Studios is not responsible for the quality of work provided by the photographers listed on our website. We provide a platform for clients to connect with photographers, but the final product is the responsibility of the photographer.
• Liability: Lumina Studios is not liable for any disputes, damages, or issues that may arise between the client and the photographer.

4. Usage Restrictions

You are specifically restricted from all of the following:

• Publishing any website material in any other media.
• Selling, sublicensing, and/or otherwise commercializing any website material.
• Using this website in any way that is, or may be, damaging to this website.
• Using this website in any way that impacts user access to this website.
• Using this website contrary to applicable laws and regulations, or in a way that causes, or may cause, harm to the website, or to any person or business entity.
• Engaging in any data mining, data harvesting, data extracting, or any other similar activity in relation to this website.
• Using this website to engage in any advertising or marketing.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Lumina Studios, nor any of its officers, directors, and employees, be liable to you for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this website, whether such liability is under contract, tort, or otherwise, and Lumina Studios, including its officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of this website.

You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent Lumina Studios from and against any and all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these terms.

Lumina Studios does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current.
